Charactristics of KMS Hollow Fiber Membranes
- High mechanical strength Tensile strength of the membrane is very strong because it is prepared by cutting-edge stretching method. So there are no membrane breakages in spite of turbulent air scouring in the aeration tank.
- High water flux The membrane shows a distinguished performance in the porosity and pure water flux test.
- Stable removal efficiency The membrane has an extremely regular pore size districution and stable treated water quality. In particular, it provides a perfect solution for removal of suspended solids larger than 0.4micron.
- Provides good resistance against fouling The membrane minimizes the fouling phenomena caused by hydrophobic pollutants due to the permanent hydrohilic coating on its surface and cross section.
- Chlorine resistance The membrane body is coated with highly chlorine-resistant polymer. Therefore, the membrane has a long life-time against chlorine used as a cleaning agent.
